As an Astrologist..

Are there ''good'' or ''bad'' aspects?

As an Astrologist, people often ask me, ''Is that a bad thing'', meaning is my chart or my natal aspects ''a bad thing''.

I usually say, there are no ''bad'' things or ''good' things, it's all about how you use it. A good aspect can be left unnoticed or unused because it's being taken for granted or gives a sense of too much ease which brings laziness.

A square on the other hand, can cause so much friction and tension, that it is forcing a change within the psyche (soul) of that being, resulting in positive transformation and epic results that can affect many people and generations to come.

Some of the hardest aspects, and pressures in life, can turn into the most beautiful end-results, just as a diamond once upon a time was a piece of cole under very, very hard pressure.

Your more challenging aspects in your chart (and this perspective can be taken on to your whole life, if you are want) are not there to punish you from past lives, but there to teach you valuable lessons. If you can work with your chart (life), accepting your aspects and ''wires'' of communications between the planets (which aspects in essence are), you are giving your soul permission to learn what it wants to and needs to learn in order to grow and evolve, and therefore also be able to give back to the world, those lessons and deeper understanding from the lessons, through weather wisdom, actions, innovations or medicine.

For those who are new to Astrology, the lines you see within your chart from different planets are wires of communication, that sets up the blueprint of your chart, it's how the planets communicate with each other, and not all planets communicate with one and another because not all planets make aspects to one another.

The different aspects depends on the degrees that are between the planets..

''Perception creates Reality.''

The Bigger Aspects are..

 - 90° degrees - Squares (Tension, Friction, Pressure - action is needed to release tension)

- 120° degrees - Trine

- 60°degrees - Sextile

- 180°degrees - Oppositions

- 0-10°degrees  - Conjunction

These are the ''bigger aspects''

But there are also smaller aspects like the bi-quintile etc that also has influence, but not as great as the bigger aspects.

I would say if you want to get to know yourself through Astrology, study the larger aspects your planets are making to one and another and then go into the smaller ones.

Your natal chart, is affecting you your whole life, and your transits (the aspects current planets are making to your natal chart) are affecting you during the period of that specifik transit, and not all the time.

If you want to learn how to use transits in your every-day-life to understand your Astrology, check current planetary placements and compare them to your own chart.

For example, where is the Sun right now? It's in the sign of Taurus (as I am writing this) check your birth-chart and see where Taurus is in your chart.
Then see if you have any planets in that sign, then you know that the Sun is currently transiting that house (which is an area of your life that it is illuminating, - or a certain planet that you may have in the sign of Taurus).

''Millionaries do not study Astrology - Billionaries do.''

In this world, we study many things outside of ourselves, which creates separation between us and what we are studying. Many of us do not study ourselves, but maybe the greatest discovery and study we can do is the one of the Self.
